AUTOMOTIVE INTERNET SALES MANAGER

THE POSITION:

Our Internet Sales Manager is responsible for timely responding to internet sales leads and to sell automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers and closing sales. Other responsibilities include frequent correspondence with potential customers, data entry tasks and managing Internet Sales Team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage Internet Sales Team.
    • Coaching, Side-by-side sales, monthly performance reviews.
    • Recruit and hire for Internet sales position.
  • Internet Lead Liaison.
    • Field questions and handle higher priority leads.
    • Communicate inventory availability and ordering lead times.
    • Monitor Internet Appointments and re-assign if necessary.
    • Make sure leads are answered in a timely manner.
    • Making calls, texts, emails and setting appointments to support sales goals and drive traffic.
  • Review Individual and Store Closing % weekly and communicate accordingly. (Weekly, Monthly)
    • Monitor response time and communication logs.
  • CRM Data
    • Identify duplicate leads.
    • Input missing leads.
    • Listening to phone calls.
  • Ensure bad and lost leads are marked appropriately. (Daily, Weekly)
  • Provide recommendations to GM to improve processes and closing percentages. – (Monthly)
    • Lead source effectiveness.
    • Missed opportunities.
    • Utilization of our Digital Technologies and Digital Retail tools.
  • Participate in Operations Review as requested.
  • Start and stop Internet lead round robin status when consultants have extended leaves.
  • Maintain appropriate CSI sores and KPI metrics.
